My name is Sam Bogstedt, from Stockholm, Sweden. Moved to the Netherlands in 2019 with my family, and went to The American School of The Hague and graduated in 2021. Shortly after I took a semester abroad where I studied filmmaking & screenwriting in Florence, Italy. I started at the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam where I am still attending. My focus is in Color Grading, but I like to engage in many disciplines in film.

What I am looking for most in a project is its value to bring something important to an audience. The importance that a project makes me see a subject in a different way. Approaching things in unconventional ways, more interesting ways is what drives me. Absurd imagery that tells the story in new perspectives is what inspires me in how to tell authentic stories that feel refreshing and interesting.

I’m in my graduation year of Audio Visual Design. Currently I am working on my swedish graduation film "Olyckor I Tillvaron för en man som lider tyst", which will finish around end of June. After that I am applying to a color grading Master in the UK where I will develop my skills for the professional field!
